Doughnut Day

We're so excited to share one of our new treats for 2013 now available on the LJC Etsy store.

These yummy little doughnut shaped Scottish tablet, may look like the traditional fried sweet confectionery but that's where the similarities end. 

You see here at LJC HQ we decided to create a collection of novelty Scottish tablet that has all the

 delicious taste of original Scottish tablet but offer a fun alternative with varying decorations. 

So what is Tablet?

Well... tablet is a medium-hard, sugary confection from Scotland.  Tablet differs from fudge in that it has a brittle, grainy texture, where fudge is much softer. Well-made tablet is a medium-hard confection, not as soft as fudge, but not as hard as hard candy.

We'll be adding new items to our Etsy store all throughout 2013 which we're super excited about.  We have some lovely treats especially for Valentines Day so keep your eyes peeled!
