Let's do brunch!

You may have noticed the blog slightly, how should we put this? Vacant over summer. We won't bore you with the details but the LJC team have been working hard on some great new products that needed pretty much 100% of our time and devotion, now that we have that in order, we can now focus on the blog which you'll notice over the next few weeks having a little and (well deserved) shake up. We're really excited to be focusing on new features that we hope you'll enjoy them.

With that said we thought we would welcome our return to the blogging world by sharing some of our ultimate favourite brunch ideas. Working flat out at the LJC studio over the past couple of months left literally little or no time for regular meals so brunch was an absolute lifesaver for the entire team.

Do we share the same favourites?

. . . . . . . .

Banana French Toast
Whilst this may not be the healthiest of options, it is nice to indulge once in a while and hey at least your incorporating some fruit right? Also sweet French toast is a great alternative to pancakes. Find the recipe here
Naan Pizza
Nothing say's brunch quite like pizza, ok so it's a little unheard of and some of you are probably already thinking it's a crazy idea. But we would like you to type 'brunch pizza' into Pinterest and try to deny that pizza in the morning is wrong. Like what you see above? Get the recipe here
Bacon Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon is one of our favourite spices to bake with so there's no surprise that we're huge fans of cinnamon buns, but cinnamon buns with bacon is possibly the best thing you could pass through your lips around brunch time. Especially when they're still slightly warm...delicious. What are you waiting for? The recipe's here
Strawberry & Banana Oatmeal Bake
This is seriously one of the tastiest ways we've tried oatmeal and what's great about this recipe is that you can substitute the strawberries and bananas with pretty much any other fruit you prefer. Check out the super simple recipe here.
Salmon Cakes
Not only are salmon cakes super delicious but they're also relatively simple to make. Another plus point is that they don't shy away from versatility, add any herb or spice that you like. They also work wonderfully served with a side of eggs. Find the recipe here

We hope we've inspired you to head into the kitchen this weekend. The weekends were made for delicious brunches!

Happy Friday!
